'telecentre.org' library (http://library.telecentre.org) on all things telecentre opens its virtual doors

'telecentre.org’s online shelves are stocked with hundreds of knowledge resources on all things telecentre.  And, this month, at eAsia, an international event focused on Information and Communication Technologies for Development, 'telecentre.org' announced it is making that library of telecentre resources available to you. From the latest research resources in the telecentre field, to cutting-edge publications, and different training resources of 'telecentre.org' Academy, the telecentre.org online library (http://library.telecentre.org) website now puts telecentre knowledge at your fingertips, for free.  Access our online library using the search engine on our English language site or by following the “categories”, “resource audience” or “resource type” links.

This our library in English and our online library will soon be accessible in and on our French and Spanish websites too, so stay tuned.  The online library is an initiative of our 'Knowledge Sharing' and 'Academy' program areas. It would also be an online collaborative space which will pull together currently dispersed data of existing and under development Global Telecentre.org National Academies, data that would otherwise be unreachable for some of the members of the network. The library platform is the result of the advanced customization of UNESCO Open Training Platform. We invite you all to contribute to its development by enriching the platform with curriculum content and using all the functionalities available herewith!
