The National Academies

The Academy is structured as a network of national academies who are supported and coordinated by a small global support unit.

Throughout the world, ten national academies are already up and running:

To ensure quality, each national academy will adhere to a set of shared standards and core curricula. Their structure and offerings, however, will vary based on local experiences, regulations, and telecentre characteristics.

Over the next year, the national academies will begin to train people and coordinate activities. National Academy members are invited to share and promote valuable telecentre manager training materials on the Telecentre Academy platform, and to adhere to or bring contributions for improvement of the framework for standardizing, validating, and administering the curriculum, coupled with a global certification scheme.
